DSCL receives two Occupational Health and Safety Awards

Demerara Shipping Company Limited (DSCL) was presented with two awards by the National Advisory Council on Occupational Safety and Health (NACOSH) during their 2023 Awards Ceremony, held on April 28, 2023, at the Pegasus Suites and Corporate Centre.

DSCL received the Best by Sector (Transportation) Award in recognition of their outstanding commitment to occupational safety and health, and for achieving the highest standard within this category.

The Workplace Runner-Up Award was also presented to DSCL in recognition of providing a safe, healthy, and secure working environment in keeping with the OSH Act.

DSCL General Manager, Ms. Nalini Jamuna, and DSCL Marketing Coordinator, Ms. Nadia Guyadeen, received the awards on behalf of the company.
